Mercy Hospice’s website was in need of an overhaul, and they were seeking an innovative approach for receiving donations. The idea they had in mind was to have a Pohutukawa tree on the website, with each donation represented by a flower placed on the tree. Although the idea was original, it posed some difficulties during the development process with getting it to work while also interfacing with different payment gateways. Despite this, the end product was exceptional and a great way to express gratitude to the donors. The site has since had a further revamp.
