Paul Couper | Chief Executive Officer
The brand refresh project at Mercy Hospice has been critical to our overall strategy. Using a consultative and collaborative approach, Cluster creative has
worked with us to create a brand identity that reflects our heritage and values, while bringing a fresh look to who we are, how the community see us and how we see ourselves.
Mercy Hospice is a complex organisation, with retail, fundraising and our core specialist clinical operations in palliative care. The challenge was to encompass all this into a 21st century look and feel, while retaining the rich history and the Mission we have in our culture.
The executive and board are very happy with the overall success of the brand project. The new look, messaging and social positioning are in line with our
vision, and make us approachable and highly visible in our community.
We are a specialist clinical service, and to encompass a community focussed message on who we are and what we do is really important. We’ve achieved this through great engagement with our staff. Cluster Creative provided guidance and support through facilitating workshops with our staff. The result
is a voice that truly resonates with every part of our organisation.
Our staff have had really positive feedback on the process. The final brand has been well endorsed and our teams are eager to use our new brand at every
opportunity. At a recent fundraising event, we used the new brand visuals which was very well received.
We began with a concept to refresh our web site and our logo- we finished up with a complete brand message, visuals, a contemporary look and feel and a
compete brand tool kit that we can use for the next 10 years.
